The first weekend in May found us all in Las Cruces for a family reunion, of sorts. It was a good time for all the cousins to play together and get to know each other a little bit.
After playing in the park on Friday night, we all went to bed early so we could get a good start for White Sands on Saturday. The day dawned a bit cloudy and breezy, but we perservered and had a nice morning playing in the sand despite the intermittent dust clouds. By lunch time, though, it was time to pack up and head back to the hotel.
Dinner at Dions was followed by yummy ice cream at Caliche's--a must for any visit to LC.
On Sunday morning we all played in the park. One of the highlights was chasing bubbles with a new little friend they met in the park. It took Syndl longer to join the fun because she had to get over her 'flight' from the swingset. Before lunch, Andrew and William got early birthday presents from Grandma & Grandpa--matching wood tool sets made by Grandpa. Then we all headed in different directions until next time.
